Job Summary
Stepping into the Clinical Educator position at Bankstown‐Lidcombe Hospital means stepping into influence. Responsibilities
The Clinical Educator will:
* Design, implement and evaluate educational programmes for occupational therapy students.
* Supervise clinical placements, providing mentorship and constructive feedback to students.
* Collaborate with universities, clinical teams and other stakeholders to align curricula with contemporary best practice.
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives and service evaluation activities within the department.
Selection Criteria
* Recognised Degree in Occupational Therapy or a related discipline and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Recent and varied experience in clinical student supervision and/or staff supervision.
* Understanding of adult learning styles and teaching methods.
* Excellent organisational, negotiation and written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Experience leading quality improvement and service evaluation activities.
* High level clinical expertise and knowledge of a wide range of hospital-based conditions.
* Possession of an Australian C‐Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). If the license is held in another state, a NSW C‐Class license must be obtained within three months of appointment.
