What your day will look like In this Toowoomba-based role, you'll be a vital and trusted presence for adults navigating crisis, providing skilled triage, assessment and evidence‑based interventions wherever you're needed, whether it's the hospital emergency department or the community. You'll collaborate closely with nurses, psychiatrists, doctors, allied health colleagues, consumers and their families to create clear pathways of care and ensure every person is supported with dignity and respect. Alongside your clinical responsibilities, you'll mentor emerging practitioners, contribute to service development and quality improvement, and act as a knowledgeable resource on mental health and the Mental Health Act 2016.
