We are now recruiting for an experienced and passionate hospitality professional to join the group and lead our friendly and professional Restaurant Team.
The Restaurant & Bar
The restaurant and bar are the heart and soul of Elandra. Offering mesmerizing ocean views from the newly renovated alfresco dining area and iconic circular bar, guests will enjoy world-class cuisine from a talented team of chefs, tropical cocktails around the pool deck, freshly made barista coffee overlooking the Coral Sea, an extensive curated wine list and a selection some of the coldest tap beer in North Queensland…
The restaurant services not only the guests staying at the resort, but is also open to the public for breakfast, lunch and dinner and is quickly earning itself the reputation as one of the best venues in Tropical North Queensland.
Offering a variety of spaces and dining areas within the resort, The Elandra also caters for intimate functions, events and weddings.
The Role
What you will bring:
* Senior experience in restaurant or high-end resort dining venues including Event Management
* Experience in managing, training, and motivating a team.
* Strong knowledge of food, wine and cocktails.
* Ability to work autonomously.
* Budgeting, cost controlling and rostering experience.
* The ability to develop relationships with key suppliers and manage stock control and ordering.
* A natural and relaxed style of service whilst being attentive to our customer/guest needs.
* Experience in event management would also be advantageous.
* Offer a vibrant, positive and outgoing attitude towards our customers and your fellow team members
