We've got a rare and exciting opportunity for a new Administration superstar to join the team here at DPS
Are you the kind of person who actually enjoys a good spreadsheet, knows how to navigate a database, and doesn't panic when someone says "we need them mobilised by yesterday"?
We're a busy construction company operating across mining and heavy industry, looking for an Administration Officer to help keep our projects moving behind the scenes. You'll be supporting our operations team with mobilisation, site inductions, accounts, and general admin tasks — basically making sure the paperwork doesn't hold up the work.
What You'll Actually Do:
* Assisting with the coordination of site inductions and ensuring everyone is compliant before stepping on site
* Assisting with the onboarding process of new team members
* Managing documentation, records, and registers (and keeping them tidy)
* General admin support to operations and management, including accounts activities (paying our bills)
* Chasing missing info politely but persistently...
Who We're After:
* Previous admin experience (construction or similar environments is a big plus)
* Comfortable juggling multiple tasks and prioritising
* Strong attention to detail (you notice missing dates and expired tickets)
* Confident using Microsoft Office and online systems/databases
Must-Haves:
* Experience with Damstra and Pegasus portals goes a loooooong way
* Good communication skills
* A sense of humour (things move fast around here)
