Advance Mental Health Care Through Clinical Pharmacy Leadership
We are seeking a Senior Pharmacist – Mental Health to join our Pharmacy Department, Clinical Support Services on a temporary part-time basis (25 hours per fortnight), delivering expert clinical pharmacy services across Logan and Beaudesert Hospitals and associated community sites, with potential future temporary or permanent full-time or part-time opportunities.

Responsibilities
As a Senior Pharmacist – Mental Health, you will work as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, providing high-level clinical pharmacy services and leadership to support safe, effective medication management for mental health consumers, with responsibilities including:

* Delivering advanced clinical pharmacy services across inpatient and community mental health settings
* Exercising independent clinical judgement in medication histories, reviews, reconciliation and care planning
* Providing clinical leadership, supervision and mentorship to pharmacists, interns, students and support staff
* Contributing to medication safety systems, clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives
* Supporting education, research activities and the implementation of new medication initiatives

About You
You are an experienced and motivated mental health pharmacist who thrives in complex clinical environments, with:

* High-level clinical pharmacy knowledge and expertise, ideally within mental health settings
* Strong ability to manage complex caseloads using professional judgement and evidence-based practice
* Demonstrated leadership skills, including supervision, mentoring and clinical education
* Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with multidisciplinary teams and consumers
* A commitment to quality improvement, patient safety, education and research

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.

We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.

Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
