* Provide practical and emotional support, education, and advocacy
* Assist with record-keeping, data collection, and reporting requirements

About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
* Lived experience of mental health challenges and recovery
* Ability to share personal experience in a safe, professional and supportive way
* Hold or willingness to enrol/complete a Certificate III or Certificate IV in Community Services or Peer Work or a relevant human services qualification
* Knowledge of trauma-informed and culturally safe practices
* Experience in working in a highly confidential manner
* Demonstrated high level of communication skills (listening, verbal and written)
* Administrative skills and ability to maintain client files and contribute to program reports
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative
* Demonstrated ability to function as a cooperative member of a team to achieve team objectives
* Demonstrated high level of ability in using Information Technology and Microsoft Office programs.
Requirements of the role:
* Hold (or willingness to obtain) a current DHS Working With Children Check *
* Hold (or a willingness to obtain) a National Criminal History Record Check (Police Check) *
* Hold a current South Australian Driver's License (minimum Provisional License)
