Position Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients with professionalism and warmth.
- Schedule and manage patient appointments using practice management software.
- Process patient registrations and update electronic medical records.
- Handle billing, including Medicare and private health insurance claims.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
- Coordinate with medical and nursing staff to facilitate seamless clinic operations.
- Perform general administrative duties, such as filing, scanning, and data entry.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a medical reception or administrative role (preferred).
- Proficiency with medical practice software (e.g., Best Practice, MedicalDirector, or similar).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work effectively in a busy environment.
- Attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
- Empathy and a patient-focused approach to service.
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and occasional weekends.

**Experience**:
- Medical admin: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
