Senior HR Business Partner Opportunity

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior HR Business Partner to provide expert generalist Human Resources advice and influence at a senior level.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coaching and advising managers and employees in designated business units and across the organisation to facilitate and enhance employee experience.

This role involves leading People and Capability projects and initiatives, as well as managing the people aspects of restructures, including organisational design, redeployment, and redundancy.

The ideal candidate will have a strong collaborative and strategic focus, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to present information and facilitate sessions for large and diverse groups of employees and leaders.

* Provide professional generalist HR advice and influence at a senior level.
* Coach and advise managers and employees in designated business units and across the organisation.
* Lead People and Capability projects and initiatives.
* Manage the people aspects of restructures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:

* A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g. Commerce, Human Resources, Law).
* Extensive experience in HR, with a strong understanding of HR practices and policies.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong relationship building and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with functional areas to solve people challenges.

About the Role

To put it simply, you will be responsible for providing professional generalist Human Resources advice and influence at a senior level.

You will be coaching and providing advice to managers and employees in designated business units and across the organisation to facilitate and enhance employee experience.

The role will require you to also lead People and Capability projects and initiatives.

* Managing the people aspects of any restructures including organisation design, redeployment and redundancy are completed within timescales and budgets.
* Working collaboratively with functional areas to solve people challenges and provide effective solutions to business units and support the proactive application of the People & Capability function deliverables across the organisation.
* Regularly reviewing People and Capability's policies and processes to ensure consistency of information and compliance with relevant legislation.
* Supporting the translation of business strategy to people strategies that effectively contribute to the performance of the business unit.
