The role of a Receptionist in a spa is multifaceted and dynamic, requiring adaptability and a strong work ethic.

In this position, you will be the first point of contact for customers upon arrival, providing exceptional customer experiences and addressing every need with compassion, efficiency, and professionalism.


Key Responsibilities

* Greet and serve customers at the front desk, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
* Book customers for services and provide guided tours of the spa facilities.
* Handle phone calls, respond to queries, and direct members to managers as needed.
* Utilize computer systems to access member details, process purchases, and assist with bookings.
* Maintain consistent sales by attending to walk-ins and upselling memberships to existing customers.
* Perform routine tasks such as linen inventory, towel replacement, and surface cleaning.
* Ensure all spa facilities are clean and prepared for use.
* Guarantee a safe and clean environment at all times.
* Assist the Spa Manager as directed.
* Adhere to dress code standards.
* Complete opening and closing duties on time.


Requirements to Succeed

* Prior experience in supervising a spa, wellness center, or health club is beneficial.
* A friendly and outgoing personality, along with a high standard of personal presentation, is essential.
* The ability to solve problems and overcome obstacles is crucial.
* Outstanding communication skills, including listening, understanding, empathizing, and influencing others.
* A customer-focused approach with a desire to deliver exceptional outcomes.
* Ability to model healthy behaviors and demonstrate passion for the fitness brand.
* A 'can-do' attitude, a thirst for learning, and ambition for growth.
* Reliability, proactivity, punctuality, and professionalism are key qualities.
* A strong work ethic and commitment to teamwork.
* Computer literacy and ability to learn new systems.
* Effective communication and upholding business policies and procedures.
* Current First Aid and CPR Certificates (or willingness to acquire).
* Australian working rights.

We operate from Monday to Friday 5:30 am to 9:00 pm and Saturday to Sunday 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. Shiftwork flexibility is required.
