Base pay range
A$93,******/yr - A$120,******/yr
We are establishing a six-month extended pool for permanent, fixed-term, full-time, part-time or casual appointments, with the possibility of a further term and/or permanency.
Kalgoorlie or Northam based position, face-to-face delivery as needed, but preference for online delivery.
About the role
A lecturer's primary role is to teach, facilitate learning and conduct assessment in traditional, new and innovative ways to a diverse range of clients.
Lecturers will also be involved in the provision of consultancy, information and promotional services to industry, prospective students and community clients.
To support this process the TAFE environment offers comprehensive industry-based Training Packages and an underpinning quality system that provides a framework for delivery and assessment.
To be successful in this role you will have a Certificate IV Work Health & Safety (or equivalent).
The successful applicant will also have at least five years of vocational or lecturing experience relevant to this position with an ability to facilitate and encourage learning.
To work for the College, you may be required to hold Australian or Australian-equivalent qualification(s).
If your qualification has been obtained overseas, the Overseas Qualifications Unit (OQU) offers a free assessment service to have your tertiary or higher education qualification(s) recognised.

There is a minimum qualification required to deliver accredited vocational education and training (VET) as defined by the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) **** (Standards), or its successors.
The current minimum qualification required is the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE***** or TAE***** or TAE*****) or a secondary teaching qualification with an Assessor Skill Set (TAESS***** or TAESS***** or TAESS*****).
Applicants who do not yet hold the minimum required VET credentials are still eligible to apply, however Central Regional TAFE will require the successful candidate to be enrolled, and have commenced training in, an approved training and assessment credential and record satisfactory progress to enable the credential to be completed within two years from commencement.

Lecturing staff employed in **** are eligible to receive a Temporary Regional Incentive of $10,000 (pa, gross – to be adjusted pro rata for FTE).
Eligible staff will receive a percentage of this payment on commencement at CRTAFE, with the remainder paid on the anniversary of start date.
Staff must remain employed in Kalgoorlie for 12 months to be eligible to receive the second payment.
