Our team values innovation, efficiency, and professional development in a fast-paced environment. The Role Seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tax Accountant to join their finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing tax compliance, optimising tax strategies, and ensuring adherence to Australian taxation regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a deep understanding of Australian corporate tax laws. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review tax returns and compliance reports for the organisation. Ensure full compliance with Australian taxation laws and corporate tax obligations. Develop and implement tax-efficient strategies to optimise financial performance. Liaise with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) and external auditors regarding tax matters and compliance. Stay up to date with changes in tax legislation and advise the business accordingly. Assist in tax planning, forecasting, and financial reporting. Support internal stakeholders with tax-related queries and guidance. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CA qualification (or working towards certification) is preferred. Demonstrated experience in tax accounting, preferably in a commercial environment. Strong knowledge of Australian corporate tax laws and regulations. Proficiency in accounting software. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
