The Opportunity
An exciting Drive-In-Drive-Out opportunity exists for Qualified and Experienced Chefs to work on a 2&1 roster with our Resources Operations Team in the Kimberley. Working closely with the Head Chef, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality meals across Breakfast, Crib, and Dinner—while upholding ISS's reputation for excellence and creating memorable dining experiences that exceed expectations.
This is your chance to showcase your culinary skills in a rewarding role where safety, quality, and flavour come together in a uniquely remote setting in a Casual or Full Time role in the remote mining village of Thunderbird outside of Broome WA.
To be considered
* Must have Australian Trade Qualification of Commercial Cookery Certificate 3 or higher
* Demonstrate a proactive, solutions-focused approach with excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills to ensure smooth operations.
* Proven experience as a chef in high-volume catering, including bulk meals and banquet or function service.
* Experience in mining village operations (Desirable)
* Must have a strong ability to meet client expectations for food quality, presentation, and strict adherence to food safety and HACCP standards.
* Unrestricted work rights in Australia
* Must have a valid police check issued within the last 12 months or be willing to obtain one.
Must pass a Pre-employment Medical Test, Functional Assessment and Drug and Alcohol Screen.
* Driver's License/ Photo ID required
