Job Summary
A highly skilled Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist will provide expert assistance to cardiologists and cardiac surgeons in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization and angiography procedures.
The ideal candidate will possess clinical expertise, knowledge of unit operations, and the ability to manage complex patient care independently.
Responsibilities include insertion of catheters, operation of electronic instruments, and calculation of hemodynamic data.
* Assume leadership roles, mentor others, cross-train for other areas, and provide educational programs within the community and department.
* Maintain established policies, objectives, quality assurance programs, general safety standards, radiation safety protocols, and equipment maintenance.
Requirements:
* Hold current registration as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
* Possess current BLS and ACLS certifications.
