About the role:
We are seeking a motivated 1st Year Apprentice Cabinet Maker to join a locally owned business based in Baringa. This is a fantastic opportunity to kickstart your career in cabinet making while gaining hands-on industry experience and completing a Certificate III in Cabinet Making and Timber Technology (MSF30322).
Key Responsibilites:
As an apprentice, you'll learn every aspect of the trade, including:
* Assisting across the cabinet making workshop as an all-rounder
* Accepting and checking incoming material deliveries
* Operating machinery including CNC and edgebanding machines
* Packing and organising hardware for projects
* Assisting with loading and completing client deliveries
* Supporting tradespeople and team members with general workshop tasks
* Maintaining a clean and safe workspace

What we're looking for:
We're after someone who is:
* Reliable, committed, and eager to learn
* Physically fit and capable of lifting and handling materials
* Comfortable taking direction and working as part of a team
* Safety-conscious with good attention to detail
* Confident with basic hand tools (advantageous but not essential)
* Well-spoken and literate, with strong communication skills
Requirements:
* Construction White Card (or willingness to obtain before starting)
* Drivers Licence and own transport
