Are you an Australian Medical Practitioner based around Sydney, with current 'general registration' and happy for a few shifts away from the hustle and bustle of Sydney?
Our client is a leading AMDS based in Wollongong and servicing the Illawara which has been providing AFTER HOURS medical services to people within their homes and residents in RACF's for more than 50 years.
With an ever increasing need for non-emergency after hours medical services we have exciting opportunities for Australian registered medical practitioners.
He offer flexible hours ranging from casual to full time with hours:
Mon - Fri (6pm-8am)
Sat (12noon - 7am)
Sun & Public Holidays (24 Hours)
At the commencement of your shift you will be pickup up and throughout the shift will be chauffeured from visit to visit and then dropped off at the completion of the shift.
Typical presentations include:
* Mild Asthma
* Sprains & Pain
* Gastro
* Influenza
* Infections & rashes
* UTI
* Minor Wound Assessments
* knocks and falls
Ideally this role will suit a medical practitioner, holding general registration who currently resides in NSW and is perhaps studying during the day or has other commitments where they are looking to work after hours.
Essential:
* MUST hold General Registration and reside in Australia at time of application.
* Available for ongoing casual, part or full time hours.
* Enjoy working in a solo clinical environment
* Prepared to do home visits and RACF visits.
* Have good communication with excellent record keeping.
**Admin & support is always available with a driver and car provided.
