The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity to join our friendly and supportive team as a Territory Manager responsible for Western Australia. This field-based, Independent-channel sales role is responsible for the account management and development of a designated geographical area, working across a wide range of customers and sales channels, to ensure achievement of sales targets and profit.
We are looking for someone who can take ownership of this area, make it their own and ultimately grow and develop it.
This role covers a large geographical area and will involve regular overnight travel in weekly blocks.
This role suits someone who loves being out in market, enjoys building genuine relationships and takes pride in growing their own patch.

What you will bring
* Minimum 3 years recent experience in face-to-face sales in Independent retail channels.
* Experience in Account management
* Experience within the Soft Toy, Gift or Nursery categories preferred.
* Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a territory-based role
* Natural ability to build rapport quickly with store owners, managers, buyers.
* Skilled at long-term relationship selling, not just one-off wins.
* Able to tailor the sales approach to different store & personality types.
* Resilience. Confident handling objections and negotiating at store level.
* Commercial & Operational Savvy – Strong understanding of sell-in, ranging, merchandising, and promotions. Ability to identify growth opportunities within stores (distribution gaps, upsell, visibility).
* Comfortable using CRM or sales tools to track visits & performance.
* Proven ability to manage & plan daily call cycles efficiently
* Excellent organisation skills and the ability to work autonomously
* Highly self-motivated, pro-active mindset & takes full ownership of territory & results.
* Willingness to be on the road daily & thrive – you will be engaging in multiple store visits daily.
* Willingness and ability to prospect for new customers – Cold call comfortable
* Clear, confident communicator. Great written and verbal communication skills
* A desire to learn, develop and grow
* Prepared to travel frequently and be away from home for up to a week at a time.
* Tertiary qualifications also highly regarded
