We are seeking an experienced and motivated Centre Director to lead our team, uphold our high standards, and continue driving excellence in pedagogy, practice, and compliance.
Candidates must demonstrate a minimum of 1‑2 years of leadership or management experience in early childhood education settings.
About the Role
As the Centre Director, you will play a key leadership role focusing on both operational and educational excellence.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading, mentoring, and supporting a team of educators
Overseeing day‑to‑day operations and service management
Ensuring full compliance with the NQF, National Regulations & Child Safe Standards
Managing enrolments, staffing, rosters, and administrative processes
Building strong relationships with families, educators, and the community
Supporting high‑quality educational programs aligned with the EYLF
Driving continuous improvement, including leadership of the QIP
Working collaboratively with the Approved Provider to uphold service vision & values What We're Looking For
We are seeking a confident and professional leader who is:
Passionate about early childhood education and advocacy
Organised, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities
A strong communicator with excellent people skills
Experienced in leading teams within early childhood settings
Dedicated to providing a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Holds a current Working with Children Check before commencing employment Skills & Qualifications
To be successful, the ideal candidate will have:
Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA‑approved)
Prior experience in a Centre Director, Educational Leader, or similar leadership role
Strong working knowledge of the NQF, EYLF, and compliance systems
Current WWCC
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage operations, and uphold compliance
High‑level communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills
Candidates must have current Australian work authorisation at the time of application.
