The Role
As the Senior Accountant, you’ll take ownership of a diverse client portfolio, providing expert tax and compliance services while leading and mentoring a team of graduates and junior accountants. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Accountant ready to step into a leadership capacity and make a genuine impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive tax consulting and business advisory services across various entities including sole traders, companies, trusts, and partnerships.
- Review and mentor the work of junior team members, supporting their ongoing professional development.
- Manage strong relationships with an established portfolio of clients.
- Prepare and review tax returns, financial statements, and reports for all entity types.
About You
- Degree qualified in Accounting, Commerce, or Business.
- CA or CPA qualified (or currently completing).
- Demonstrated experience with taxation structures, Division 7A, CGT, small business concessions, and superannuation.
- Previous experience within a public practice environment.
- Robust proficiency in Xero and Microsoft Excel.
