The Role Our client is a dynamic national organisation headquartered in Clayfield, Brisbane. They are a market leader in the multi-billion-dollar healthcare sector, with exciting growth plans in place driven by both organic expansion and strategic partnerships. Their finance team is seeking to appoint a commercially astute Payroll Officer on a contract basis. In this role, you will support the payroll function, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll while contributing to the overall efficiency of the team. Key responsibilities End-to-end payroll processing (fortnightly); Maintaining accurate employee records and payroll data; Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, awards, and agreements; Handling leave calculations, superannuation, PAYG and other statutory obligations; Responding to payroll queries in a timely and professional manner; and Working collaboratively within a small team and assisting as needed. About You Demonstrated end-to-end payroll experience Experience with Chris21 or iChris is highly desirable Excellent attention to detail and strong time management skills Proven ability to work autonomously and take initiative Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders
