The OpportunityDue to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to join our Construction team in Townsville.
This role will see you leading projects from planning through to delivery, with a particular focus on electrical and emerging energy infrastructure. Experience across solar, renewables, or energy-related projects will be highly regarded.
You will play a key role in managing project outcomes, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining strong relationships with various stakeholders.
Key ResponsibilitiesBased in our Townsville office, your responsibilities will include:Leading the delivery of infrastructure and construction projects from planning through to completionManaging project scope, budget, schedule and risk to achieve successful outcomesPreparing and reviewing project documentation, reports and briefs for clientsManaging procurement processes including consultant and contractor engagementOverseeing contract administration and construction delivery activitiesCoordinating multidisciplinary project teams including designers, engineers and contractorsBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with government stakeholders and project partners
Candidate ProfileTo be successful in this role, you will bring strong project leadership capability, commercial awareness, and experience delivering complex infrastructure or building projects. Experience working on electrical, mechanical, energy, or renewables-related projects will be highly regarded.
You will also bring:Relevant qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or similarDemonstrated experience delivering construction or infrastructure projects within a consultancy, contractor or client-side environmentStrong knowledge of contracts administration and project governanceExcellent communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders and project teamsA proactive, solutions-focused approach and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes
