Scaf-West Pty Ltd is a Perth-based scaffolding contractor with over 35 years' experience. We specialise in scaffolding hire and project management for maintenance and capital projects. We work with major WA organisations across defence, infrastructure, mining and resources sectors as well as building maintenance sectors.
Scaf-West is hiring multiple full-time Scaffolders across WA. We offer opportunities for career advancement and upskilling through external and internal training to enhance your portfolio.
Responsibilities
* Erecting, dismantling and altering tube & fitting scaffolds
* Preparing materials for the job to keep subsequent days\' work efficient
* Discussing scaffold requirements with supervisor daily
* Communicating with supervisor regarding gear, vehicles and team required and time spent on activities
* Carrying out tasks within agreed time limits
* Completing Scaffold Inspection Checklist for each project
* Maintaining accurate records and documentation
* Discussing job requirements with clients
* Reviewing and carrying out Safety, Quality and Environmental procedures and providing feedback on deficiencies, discrepancies or potential improvements
* Communicating with upline regarding job features
* Responsible for allocated workload and meeting targets as agreed with reporting manager
Essential Skills & Knowledge
* Hold relevant qualifications and have completed an appropriate apprenticeship
* Skills in configuring, erecting and dismantling scaffolding
* Minimum 2 years of scaffolding experience
* Scaffold Basic Ticket; Working at Height; Confined Space
* Ability to work well in a team environment
* Knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials common to the trade
* Knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and regulations
* Friendly and approachable with good customer service skills
* Good attention to detail
* Demonstrated time management and project management skills
* Driving licence

* Rigging ticket
* MR Driver's License
* Ability to work well unsupervised
* Capable of communicating clearly and effectively with the team
* Willingness to learn new skills and further develop a scaffolding career
The Compensation
Salary: base pay $80,000-$90,000 per annum. This wage is based on a standard 38-hour week. Overtime penalties are paid on top of this and additional remuneration may apply for remote work and living away allowances.
You can expect regular pay reviews with key development focal points to ensure continuing growth in ability and income.
