**Job Title**: Disability Support Worker
**Location**: Deloraine Tasmania
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Workers to join our team in Devonport Tasmania. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities, promoting their independence, well-being, and social inclusion.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist clients with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and household activities.
- Support clients in accessing community services, recreational activities, and social engagements.
- Implement individualized care plans and encourage clients to achieve their goals.
- Monitor and report on client progress and well-being.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or a related field (or willingness to obtain).
- Previous experience in disability support or a similar role (preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A caring and empathetic attitude with a focus on client empowerment.
- Current First Aid Certificate and a valid driver's license.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain.
