Our Opportunity
Work Location: Perth/Port Hedland (50/50 FIFO)
Roster: Monday to Friday (Perth 5D/2R, Hedland 4D/3R)
Fortescue is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to join the Central Services planning team in a newly created role. This position offers a balanced FIFO roster between Perth and Port Hedland and is responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance across three villages in the Port Hedland Operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and schedule weekly work for all trades, following the work management process.
* Maintain accurate SAP master data and asset registers.
* Develop maintenance tactics aligned with company and statutory requirements.
* Define PRTs and BOMs to support efficient maintenance execution.
* Complete ANCI/ATI reviews to ensure critical spares and consumables are available.
* Lead warehouse stock and critical spares reviews.
* Manage service agreements with specialist contractors.
* Monitor and improve work management KPIs.
* Drive business improvement initiatives to optimize maintenance and reduce costs.
* Collaborate with site leadership to support defect elimination and transition to planned maintenance.
Qualifications and Experience
* Proven SAP experience, including master data and maintenance tactics.
* Proficient in MS Office.
* Background in maintenance planning.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
* Skilled in creating forward plans and capacity planning.
* Ability to work independently and in a team.
* Knowledge of Registerable Plant and fire system maintenance planning in village settings.
* Experience in contractor and budget management.
* High level of confidentiality and initiative.
* Commitment to quality service and team collaboration.
* Understanding of change management processes.
