Overview
Queensland X-Ray, part of Sonic Healthcare, is a leading provider of radiology services across Queensland. This position supports the expansion of reporting and analytics capabilities for Queensland X-Ray and Sonic Healthcare Australia Radiology (SHAR). The role is a newly created, fixed‐term, full‐time position for 12 months, based in South Bank, Brisbane.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the rollout and standardisation of Queensland X-Ray's existing reporting portfolio across SHAR.
* Conduct gap analysis between legacy and Microsoft BI solutions, identifying and resolving functional discrepancies.
* Migrate legacy SAP BusinessObjects Crystal Reports to Power BI and Paginated Report solutions.
* Develop advanced Power BI dashboards and Paginated Reports tailored to user and business requirements.
* Develop reusable reporting templates and standards that promote consistency and scalability.
* Validate report outputs and perform reconciliation testing to ensure alignment of report output with legacy reporting.
* Produce and maintain report specifications, migration documentation and user guides.
* Perform additional duties as directed by the Business Analytics Manager.
About You
* Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics or a related field.
* Minimum 3 years' experience developing enterprise reporting solutions using the Microsoft BI stack.
* Proven experience migrating legacy reports, including SAP BusinessObjects Crystal Reports or similar platforms.
* Demonstrated ability to independently analyse legacy report designs, business rules and data logic.
* Ability to conduct migration assessments, gap analysis, reconciliation testing and validation.
* Intermediate Power BI expertise, including dashboard development, DAX, Power Query and data modelling.
* Experience developing and maintaining Power BI and Paginated Reports for operational and strategic reporting.
* Strong SQL expertise, including querying databases, interpreting stored procedures and complex SQL queries.
* Strong problem‐solving skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into analytic solutions.
* Experience working in radiology or healthcare environments is advantageous.
* Experience with UKG Pro WFM is advantageous.
