The Role
Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Bid Manager will coordinate complex project bids and tenders, working with internal teams and clients to ensure submissions are competitive, compliant, and aligned with company risk and governance. The role covers the full bid process from opportunity identification to tender submission and handover.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and prepare high-quality tender submissions for major building projects
* Manage Project Opportunity Reports and ensure compliance with Delegation of Authority
* Review tender documents and coordinate internal inputs from estimating, construction, and engineering teams
* Develop competitive, innovative solutions and manage risk mitigation strategies
* Attend client meetings, site inspections, and support post-award handover to project teams
* Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and effective communication across teams
* Ensure all bids comply with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
* Provide accurate reporting and contribute to continuous improvement of bid management processes
About You
You are a highly organized bid professional with strong commercial acumen and the ability to manage complex tender processes within the construction industry.
* Trade qualification plus Certificate IV in Building & Construction, Project Management or equivalent
* Minimum 7 years' experience in bid/tender management within the building or construction industry
* Demonstrated experience preparing large and complex tenders
* Knowledge of Australian construction standards, BCA and council regulations
* Strong understanding of contract management, risk and cost control
* Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple deadlines and take ownership of outcomes

* Experience within modular construction or prefabricated building environments
