Lecturer, General Education – National School of Education. Location: Canberra, Australia.
Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver high‐quality teaching and learning outcomes through lecturers, tutorials and laboratory classes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in a range of education disciplines.
* Continuously improve teaching practices, curriculum and learning materials.
* Contribute to the scholarship of teaching and research performance through publishing, research and professional activities.
* Participate in the academic and administrative functions of the National School of Education.
Qualifications & Experience
Candidate must hold relevant academic qualifications and have a track record of effective teaching at university level. Experience in curriculum development and engagement in educational research is preferred. A Working with Children Check (WWCC) and/or Working with Vulnerable People Check (WWVP) (ACT only) is required. Australian work rights are mandatory.
Remuneration & Benefits
* Total remuneration range of $142,635 - $168,287 pro rata per annum, including salary component $120,529 - $142,305 (Academic Level B).
* 17% employer superannuation contribution.
* Annual leave loading equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata.
