We are seeking an experienced Civil Designer to join our team in Busselton, Western Australia.
Job Description
The successful candidate will work on projects delivering solutions in urban, land and subdivision projects within Busselton and surrounds. This role will suit an experienced Civil Designer who has worked on multi-disciplined civil projects for councils, local government, main roads, or developers.
We activate urban downtowns, suburban centers, small towns, and rural areas—and the multimodal corridors that connect us to the places we work, live, and thrive. A relocation package is available for applicants outside the region.
Responsibilities
* Preparing conceptual and detailed designs using 12D software (land subdivisions, road infrastructure, drainage, sewer & water systems as well as associated infrastructure).
* Interpreting civil design requirements of state government, local government authorities and private sector clients.
* Interfacing with associated disciplines such as transport, planning, survey, traffic, electrical and landscaping.
* Interacting with clients regarding project needs.
Requirements
* Demonstrating senior civil designer experience in urban, land and subdivisions.
* Relevant qualifications, such as a Graduate Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
* Demonstrated experience ideally using 12D software.
* Familiarity with local authority and state government approval and regulatory requirements.
