We are seeking a talented individual to join our Affinity team at Marsh. This role will be based in Adelaide SA office. This is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office.

This role will be reporting to the Divisional Manager. You’ll manage and service a portfolio of new and existing clients providing high standards of service and this role you will be managing an Affinity and Schemes Client Portfolio in all aspects of client service including administration, technical support, and business development through accurate, efficient, and timely production of all policy and related documentation. Sound knowledge of policies such as Public Liability, Business Package Tools of Trade, and Motor insurance would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain effective client relationships by understanding their needs and proactively responding to them.
- Implement renewal and broking strategies tailored to client requirements.
- Process billing requests and gather information for quotes efficiently.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with insurers and assist in negotiations.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with our overseas offices.
- Manage outstanding renewals, credit control and necessary reporting for the client portfolio.
- Recognize and act on new business opportunities in a timely manner, introducing new products or broader policies as appropriate.

Requirements

- Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification or higher.
- Ideally someone with 5‑7 years experience in insurance broking.
- Clear and effective communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously within a multi‑skilled team.
- Strong time‑management skills with the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Suite and a demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly.
