Guest Service Attendant Job Description
This role presents an exciting opportunity to work at a holiday park in the beautiful Byron Bay of NSW. As a Guest Service Attendant, you will be part of a dynamic and growing team, working in a unique environment that offers a chance to develop your skills and passion in a health and leisure setting.
The Site
First Sun Holiday Park is located on the beachfront of NSW's well-known town of Byron Bay. Guests can rent a self-contained cabin, hut, lodge, park their caravans in a powered and un-powered spot, or pitch their tents on the beautifully landscaped grounds.
The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Guest Service Attendant who will assist with ensuring the high standard of cleanliness throughout the park. This includes cleaning cabins, villas, amenities blocks, and common areas, as well as performing other duties as directed by the park manager from time to time.
Responsibilities:
* Comply with and follow all Occupational Health & Safety policies and procedures
* Ensure the cleaning is completed in a timely manner
* Be available on weekends, public holidays, and empathetic to peak seasonal periods
* Knowledge of accepted cleaning practices
* Able to work in a team environment
* Immaculately presented
* Cleaning chemical knowledge - desirable
* Good oral and written communication skills
* Similar experience in a previous role
* Previous housekeeping (Hotel or Motel) experience
* Current First Aid Certificate
* Current CPR
* Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check & National Police Check)
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, have previous experience in housekeeping, and hold relevant certifications such as First Aid and CPR. You will also need to have a strong attention to detail and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
