Nurse Unit Manager
We are seeking 2 experienced and motivated Nurse Unit Managers to take on a pivotal leadership role within a regional health service in Victoria located approximately halfway between Adelaide and Melbourne. These leadership opportunities include:
1. One Nurse Unit Manager in Residential Aged Care.
2. One Nurse Unit Manager in Acute and Urgent Care.
Both roles offer an exciting opportunity for a confident clinical leader who thrives on leading from the front, inspiring teams, and driving excellence in care delivery. You will play a critical role in shaping a positive care culture, supporting and developing your team, and ensuring the highest standards of safe, high-quality, and person-centred care in line with the relevant clinical guidelines and frameworks.
This includes day-to-day clinical operations, staff leadership, rostering, quality and safety oversight, resource management, and supporting a positive, consumer-centred care culture.
The successful candidate will have:
3. Demonstrated competence in leading and managing a team to deliver services that ensures safe, person-centered care
4. Demonstrated ability to develop and manage rosters and workforce needs
5. Preferable post-graduate training or education in aged care, acute medical or emergency nursing
6. Preferable post-graduate education in leadership and management, or plans to undertake
7. Knowledge of key guidelines and frameworks relevant to the role including, but not limited to, Safe Patient Care Act, Code Grey requirements, and Aged Care Quality and Safety Standards
8. Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and evidence-based practice
9. Adaptability to competing demands
10. Annual Flu vaccination
11. Current Police Clearance, Working with Children Check and NDIS Check, or willingness to obtain
12. Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
