Ventia is looking for a motivated and organised Cleaning Team Leader to join our Station Cleaning team in a reliable, Monday to Friday role.

This role begins and ends each day at Perth Train Station, where you will drive a company van along one of the train lines to ensure each station remains clean, safe, and welcoming for the community.
About the Role
Position: Cleaning Team Leader
Hours: Monday to Friday
8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
or
1:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Pay: $30.71 per hour plus superannuation
Contract: Full-Time until end of July 2026 (with potential extension)
Location: Perth Train Station depot, servicing stations along various train lines
You will lead a team of cleaners and work hands-on to maintain high cleaning standards across rail stations.
This role suits someone who enjoys structure, teamwork, and the satisfaction of making public spaces safer and more pleasant for thousands of commuters each day.
What You Will Do
Clean platforms, restrooms, public areas, and station facilities
Complete tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, bin emptying, and restocking
Operate pressure washers and scrubber machines
Monitor supplies, report maintenance issues, and follow safety procedures
Lead a team of 10 cleaners to maintain high standards
Support communication with supervisors and management

What You Need
* Previous cleaning experience
* Experience leading a team or supervising staff
* A valid Western Australian driver licence and confidence driving a company van
* A National Police Check completed within the last three months
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
* A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and pride in delivering excellent standards
