Painters and Blasters must have extensive prior blasting and painting experience and be well diverse in standard blasting systems set up and use as well as coating applications with conventional and airless pumps and be across all QA/QC recording requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Perform surface preparation using abrasive blasting, high-pressure water blasting, or mechanical tools.
Apply industrial coatings (spray, brush, or roller) in accordance with project specifications and manufacturer requirements.
Set up and maintain blasting/painting equipment including compressors, spray guns, and ventilation systems.
Conduct thickness, adhesion, and quality checks (DFT, WFT, holiday testing, etc.).
Safely handle and dispose of blasting media, coatings, solvents, and associated waste.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, inspections, and materials used.
Assist in scaffolding or rope-access activities where required (with appropriate training/licensing).
Follow project-specific SWMS, JSA, and environmental management requirements.
Report hazards, incidents, and near misses in line with company procedures.
Prepare surfaces by scraping off old paint, caulking cracks and holes, and using drop cloths or masking tape to shield nearby areas.
To get the right color and texture, mix and choose paints, stains, and finishes.
Use brushes, rollers, sprayers, and other tools to apply paint, varnish, wallpaper, and other finishes.
Between coatings, sand and smooth surfaces, checking the job to make sure it is up to par and meets client requirements.
Work with customers to select finishes and color schemes while estimating labor and material expenses.
