What you'll be doing
* Provide transport and other duties for the Broken Hill Health Service.
* Transfer in-patients from Far West LHD Public hospital to another hospital facility, medical appointment, Nursing homes or private residences, Airport/RFDS, under the direct supervision of a Registered or Enrolled Nurse.
* Transportation of staff and deliveries as requested.
* Check and maintain vehicles.
* Plan and arrange maintenance of vehicle.

How to apply:
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible.
* Current NSW Drivers Licence Class C
* Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Physically capable of transferring patients, loading, unloading and manoeuvring patients around, on and off stretchers or wheelchairs.
* Demonstrated experience with using computer systems and Microsoft programs.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently or part of a team with limited supervision.
* Knowledge of challengers of working in a remote area.
* Demonstrated previous experience relating to position.
