* *Job Overview:**
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Secondary Aluminium Smelting Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operation of equipment and processes involved in the secondary aluminium smelting operations. This role is crucial for maintaining production efficiency while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
* *Key Responsibilities:**
* Operate and monitor smelting equipment, including furnaces, melting pots, and other machinery.
* Prepare and load aluminium scrap and alloys into smelting units.
* Monitor temperatures, chemical compositions, and other critical parameters during the smelting process.
* Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
* Follow safety protocols and environmental regulations to promote a safe working environment.
* Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.
* Maintain accurate records of production output, material usage, and other relevant data.
* Participate in quality control measures and adjust processes as needed to ensure product quality.
* *Qualifications:**
* High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in metallurgy or materials science is highly preferred.
* Previous experience in aluminium smelting, metal processing, or a related field is an advantage.
* Knowledge of metallurgy principles and smelting processes.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
* Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
