THE ROLE

We're looking for an enthusiastic and results-driven Contact Centre Sales Agent to join our team. In this role, you'll be the first voice our guests hear - converting enquiries into bookings, building meaningful relationships, and helping travellers find the perfect AAT Kings experience across our Guided Holidays, Short Breaks, and Day Tours.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

* Convert inbound enquiries received via phone, email, and web into confirmed bookings, using a consultative sales approach tailored to each guest
* Proactively upsell additional products including flights, insurance, pre/post accommodation, and Gold Seal Protection to enhance each guest's journey
* Conduct outbound and follow-up calls to guests who have submitted enquiries or brochure requests, converting interest into bookings
* Develop in-depth knowledge of AAT Kings' full range of travel products to confidently recommend the best options for every traveller
* Manage leads and bookings accurately using Salesforce CRM and GDS platforms
* Take full ownership of the guest journey - from first enquiry through to post-travel follow-up - ensuring every interaction is exceptional
* Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets, contributing to both individual and team goals
* Represent the AAT Kings brand with professionalism, warmth, and genuine passion in every interaction

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

* Minimum 2 years' experience in a retail travel agency, airline, or travel-related reservations environment (highly regarded)
* Proven inbound and/or outbound telesales experience with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding KPIs
* Solid knowledge of the travel industry, particularly Australian and New Zealand destinations
* Excellent relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills
* Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce
* A guest-first mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service
* Availability to work a rotating 5-day roster, Monday to Saturday, with flexibility to support business needs
