The Role
Assistant Service Managers play a critical role in O’Brien ongoing success, and their responsibilities are broad and impactful. In this role, you will support these managers, and your responsibilities will include,
* Collaborating with key customers to ensure timely and accurate in field service and support
* Driving continuous improvement across service and maintenance operations
* Applying strong financial management and reporting principles
* Leading and developing high-performing teams
* Enhancing service quality, assurance, and client satisfaction
* Overseeing scheduling, workforce management, and resource planning
* Prioritising safety as a non-negotiable aspect of all operations
* Managing contingency planning and emergency response readiness
* Continuously improving rapid response capability across states
What We're Looking For
We’re seeking a proactive, customers service oriented leader who thrives on making a measurable impact. You must be passionate about service excellence, management, and leadership and confident in your ability to influence and improve operational outcomes. A positive attitude, adaptability, and commitment to a diverse and inclusive workplace are essential.
Ideal candidates will have,
* Minimum 2 years of experience in field service management, operations coordination, and workforce planning
* A trade qualification (preferably electrical) or engineering background (advantageous)
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills suitable for a senior operations role
* A valid driver’s license
* Willingness to travel interstate, including overnight stays
This position is based at our office in Parkinson, QLD.
