Job Description
How you'll be making an impact in people's lives:
* Taking assessments relevant to your discipline to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans.
* Designing and implementing intervention programs using occupation to improve functional performance, independence, and work capacity.
* Identifying barriers and designing, implementing, and monitoring programs that support people to achieve maximal work participation.
* Understanding a variety of healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes and empowering your clients to achieve their wellness and recovery goals.
* Liaising with clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers, and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
Qualifications
What you'll bring to the role:
* Australian recognized degree qualification in Social Work (AASW)
* Willingness to learn and impact positively on people's lives in tangible ways
* The ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey
* Commitment to a high level of customer service to your clients and customers
* Willingness to work in the community (must have driver's license and access to own vehicle)
* Current or able to obtain a Working with Children Check and Police Clearance
