As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional results by translating operational air mission needs into system requirements and developing architecture models that ensure interoperability and compliance with standards.
The Systems Engineer will lead system integration activities, define and manage interfaces (ICDs), and validate connectivity with joint/coalition C2 systems and tactical data links. This role also involves applying ASD ISM controls, supporting accreditation, and contributing to safety case development for mission-critical operations.
In this position, you will develop and execute test strategies (functional, performance, resilience), maintain traceability, and ensure system readiness for operational deployment. You will work closely with Defence stakeholders and technical teams to deliver high-quality results.
Requirements
* Proven experience in requirements analysis, architecture design, and lifecycle management for complex, mission-critical systems.
* Knowledge of ASD ISM, PSPF, and experience supporting security accreditation in classified environments.
* Proficiency with tools such as Cameo/MagicDraw, Enterprise Architect, or similar for architecture and traceability.
