The Opportunity

We have an opportunity for a National Container Repairs & Maintenance Officer to join our Fremantle team!

This role plays a key part in supporting the coordination of container repairs and maintenance across Australia. You'll work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure containers are repaired efficiently, costs are managed and operations continue to run smoothly.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Coordinate and review container repair and maintenance requests
• Liaise with depots, suppliers and internal teams to arrange and manage repairs
• Monitor repair costs and support cost control initiatives
• Review and process supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Arrange inspections or follow-ups for repairs where required
• Support reporting and tracking of repair activity
• Assist with managing third-party claims where applicable
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve issues and keep operations moving

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience in a coordination, operations, administration or similar role
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
• High attention to detail, particularly when working with costs and data
• Confident communication skills and the ability to build relationships
• Proactive approach with strong problem‐solving ability
• Experience in transport, logistics or maintenance environments is beneficial but not essential
• Flexibility to support occasional overtime, including weekends, evenings or public holidays as required
