Disability and Aged Care Support Workers
Support Workers – Aged Care, Disability & TAC | Casual Roles | Multiple Positions Available
Caresiah is a registered NDIS provider of disability support services. We also support community members across the region through Aged Care and TAC (Transport Accident Commission) services.
We are currently seeking casual Support Workers to join our team. These roles have the capacity to merge into permanent part time positions for the right candidate.
Applicants must have the capacity to work long shifts across a minimum of 2-3 weekdays, with additional availability on weekends and for both active and inactive night shifts highly desirable. These roles involved supporting vulnerable individuals, some of who require full personal care.
About the Role:
As a Support Worker with Caresiah, your responsibilities would include:
Personal care and mobility assistance
Domestic assistance (cleaning, laundry, meal prep)
Social support and community access
Supporting clients with physical or cognitive disabilities
Working with TAC clients in line with recovery and independence goals
Assisting older Australians to remain independent at home
What We're Looking For:
We welcome candidates with a genuine passion for caring, reliability, and a professional attitude. Hourly rate starting from $36.
Certificate III in Individual Support or Certificate IV in Ageing, Disability or Home and Community
Current First Aid & CPR
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Police Check (within 12 months)
Driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
Advantage:
Certificate IV in Ageing Support and/or Certificate IV in Disability
Experience working with TAC clients or people with complex support needs
