I am working with a top-tier global investment firm that are seeking a Production Engineer to join its Sydney team. This role is closely aligned with live trading, data, and research systems, offering meaningful ownership across both production stability and engineering innovation.

The Role
* Support and maintain mission-critical trading and data platforms
* Monitor production systems, perform market-open readiness checks, and resolve incidents impacting live trading
* Partner with engineering, risk, and business teams to diagnose and remediate complex production issues
* Own database support and data integrity across core platforms
* Contribute to release management and post-incident root cause analysis
* Design and build automation and tooling to improve resilience, monitoring, and operational efficiency
Your Experience
* Strong development experience with Python and/or C#
* Experience with Cloud Infrastructure, Monitoring, and Automation
* Solid administration skills across Linux/Windows OS
* Strong Database experience
