Support Workers play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centered dementia support—building strong relationships with clients and enhancing quality of life through meaningful, respectful, and compassionate care. Key Responsibilities Deliver person-centered support to people living with dementia Build strong rapport and provide meaningful companionship Support clients to maintain independence, dignity, and choice Create a safe, welcoming environment that supports wellbeing Plan and participate in engaging activities that promote life skills Communicate effectively and empathetically with clients and carers Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary care team About You You are someone who brings warmth, patience, and reliability to your work and genuinely values person-centered care. Essential / Preferred: Certificate III in Individual Support, Ageing or Disability Previous experience in aged care, disability, or healthcare Unrestricted working rights in Australia COVID-19 vaccination certificate Highly regarded: Senior First Aid (HLTAID011) CPR (HLTAID009) Manual Handling (HLTWHS005) Why Join Alzheimer’s WA?
