**About the Role**
Are you ready for a career that truly makes a lasting impact in someone's life? As a Youth Worker, you will be part of a dedicated team supporting young people who are experiencing vulnerability and need someone to walk alongside them through life's challenges.
In this permanent, full-time role, you'll work directly with young people in a 24-hour care residential setting, helping them build resilience, independence, and a strong sense of belonging. You'll work an average of 5 x 24-hour shifts per fortnight on a rotating roster - giving you meaningful time off while still making a deep impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Be a stable, supportive presence in the lives of young people
Help develop their life skills, confidence, and independence
Work through tough times together, providing emotional and practical support
Advocate for their needs and wellbeing as part of a wider care team
Collaborate with Case Managers and community services to support long-term outcomes
Requirements:
Certificate IV in Child, Youth & Family Intervention or equivalent
Current WWCC or willing to obtain
Full Australian Driver's Licence
Full working rights in Australia
A strong ability to build trust with diverse young people
