A school in Australia is seeking a diligent and meticulous School Maintenance Assistant to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and overall environment of its facilities.
The successful candidate will work on maintaining hygiene standards throughout the premises. This position involves cleaning windows, pictures, doorknobs, taps, sinks, drinking fountains, lavatory basins, glassware, glass doors and cupboards, as well as cleaning and sanitising toilet facilities and sick bays.
Key responsibilities include ensuring all areas are clean and free from hazards, adhering to health and safety protocols, and reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
