ABOUT THE ROLES
We're looking for reliable, safety-minded people to join our busy Edmonton store. Right now, we have openings in the yard and goods receivable. These are active, hands-on roles that help keep the store running smoothly every day. You'll be helping customers, handling stock, and making sure materials are received, loaded and organised properly.
YARD PERSON RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
* Help trade and retail customers in the yard with friendly, efficient service
* Load and unload building materials safely
* Pick and prepare orders accurately so customers get what they need
* Keep the yard tidy, organised and safe
* Follow safety procedures and look out for your teammates
* Work with the team to keep orders and deliveries on track
GOODS RECEIVABLE RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
* Check in and process incoming stock accurately and on time
* Make sure goods are ready in full and on time for customers
* Complete branch transfers the right way and follows company procedures
* Help keep the store clean, safe and organised
* Pitch in with logistics and loading when needed
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
* A strong focus on safety and looking out for your team and customers
* Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and lifting
* Previous experience in hardware or the building industry (desirable)
* Good attention to detail and accuracy
* The ability to operate vehicles within your licence and skill level
* A current LF forklift licence is essential
