Responsibilities
As a locum sonographer, your primary duties will involve performing ultrasound examinations on patients using specialised equipment and techniques. You will be expected to perform a range of obstetric scans including morphology, MSK, general, and small parts using Canon and Siemens equipment. You will be well supported by their team of sonographers as well as doctors on site. The position commences ASAP for 2–3 months, though all durations will be considered. You'll be joining a friendly and supportive team, and accommodation and travel assistance will be provided.
Skills and Experience
* Current and full ASAR Membership
* Current vaccinations
* Correct working rights for Australia
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, together with effective collaboration with peers
* Adaptability and flexibility to new environments, workflows, and teams
* Prior experience in a hospital setting, where obstetrics scans were performed
