Ashton Manufacturing is one of Australia’s leading funeral product manufacturers, supplying high-quality coffins, caskets and accessories nationwide.

Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking two reliable and hands-on team members

to join our production team in Carcase Assembly.

These are hands-on roles suited to people who enjoy practical work, take pride in producing quality outcomes, and are seeking stable, long-term employment within a supportive team environment. We work collaboratively, with everyone contributing to shared tasks and ongoing improvements across the production floor. You’ll be expected to operate tools and equipment safely, maintain a clean and organised workspace, and uphold the high safety and quality standards we’re known for.

About the Role:

Carcase Assembly

This role focuses on building the structural components of our coffins.

Your day will include:

* Assemble coffin carcases using air and power tools
* Work with timber and hardware components
* Follow precise measurements and build specifications
* Operating tools, machinery and equipment safely
* Inspect builds to ensure strength and quality standards are met

A background in manufacturing, cabinet making, carpentry, construction, or simply enjoying hands-on work with wood and tools will be highly regarded.

* Physically fit and capable of manual handling (including moving carcases independently)
* Strong attention to detail
* Pride in quality and presentation
* Reliable, punctual and hardworking
* Able to follow processes and safety procedures
* Willing to learn and be trained

What We Offer:

* $33.46 per hour + Superannuation
* Stable Casual position working 38 hours per week role with a well-established Australian business
* Monday to Friday work (Early finish Fridays)
* Supportive team environment with clear expectations
* Structured training on products, systems, and processes
* Opportunity to transition to full-time employment following a successful 6-month probation period
