Job Overview:
The Security and Emergency Management (SEM) Advisor will be responsible for leading the delivery of security and emergency response services across Midstream operations, contractors, and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the execution of security and emergency response services to ensure robust capabilities across Midstream assets.
* Provide expert technical guidance on security, emergency management, and business continuity to support the Midstream Business & Leads as required.
* Act as the focal point for audits, inspections, and assurance reviews aligned with Shell Safety Environment & Asset Management (SEAM) Standards and the Shell Security & Incident Management Framework.
* Maintain and review key operational plans including Security, Maritime Security, Emergency Response, Adverse Weather, and Business Continuity.
* Establish and manage relationships with Australian local, state, and federal emergency/security services and regulatory agencies.
* Support incident investigations and present findings to Asset Management Incident Review Panels.
* Perform duties as the designated Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO) and Authorized Officer (Gladstone Ports Corporation) for QCLNG Curtis Island.
* Oversee and assure the business requirement for contracted security (G4S) and emergency response services (CPA) are aligned, liaise with the respective contract owners & holders is essential.
* Organize & assure required competency for nominated Emergency Response Team (ERT) members, liaise with training provider, regular review of training content. ERT members are sourced from within the operating asset workforce.
* Liaise with your Shell Australia security & emergency management country & asset peer group.
