Site Safety Officer - Commercial Construction (SA)
We are seeking an experienced Site Safety Officer to join a dynamic commercial construction team in South Australia. This is a hands-on role where you will ensure all sites operate safely and comply with WHS legislation. With decades of experience in the South Australian construction industry, our team delivers high-quality commercial projects across a variety of sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor and enforce WHS compliance across project sites
* Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
* Maintain and review Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS)
* Manage inductions, licences, and training for site personnel and subcontractors
* Investigate and report incidents, near misses, and hazards
* Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to maintain a strong safety culture
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience in a site-based WHS or safety role
* White Card and current driver's licence
* National Police Check (or willing to obtain)
* First Aid Certificate (desirable)
* Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain)
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing
