Executive Support Officer
Full-time Temporary with a Possibility of Permanency
Details: Work Safety Group are seeking a proactive and highly organised Executive Support Officer to join the Office of the Executive Group Manager to cover an upcoming period of leave.
The Work Safety Group plays a key role in managing and preventing workplace injuries across the ACT Public Sector, overseeing workers' compensation arrangements, supporting whole-of-government WHS governance, and contributing to national work health and safety initiatives. The Group also provides advice on industrial relations, workplace safety legislation, and health and wellbeing programs – making this an exciting opportunity to be involved in meaningful work.
The Executive Officer provides high-level administrative and executive support to several Executive staff, with a particular focus on managing ministerial correspondence and supporting the smooth delivery of group priorities.

Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately for a period of seven months with the possibility of extension up to 12 months and/or permanency. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only. Please note, this position is within a workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk.
